I am an MD/PhD student in the Department of Genome Sciences. In the Trapnell Lab, I am interested in leveraging AI to accelerate our progress towards understanding of cell fate decisions and genetic dependencies in development and disease.

Prior to joining the Trapnell Lab, I double-majored in Biology and Public Health at Johns Hopkins and wrote my first lines of code in the Gaykalova Lab where I studied tissue-specific cancer cell sensitivities to repurposed drugs. After graduation, I worked as an associate computational biologist in the Wang Lab at the Broad Institute building pipelines to analyze spatially-resolved single cell transcriptomic and translatomic data.

Outside of medicine and science, you’ll find me playing beach volleyball, cooking something new, enjoying music and my cats, and giving progressively better haircuts to my friends.
