I am a graduate student in Genome Sciences in the Trapnell Lab. I earned my B.S. in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from UC Santa Barbara. After graduating, I joined the Jacobo Lab at the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub San Francisco as a research associate, where I studied quantitative tissue morphogenesis in the zebrafish lateral line using genetic and laser-induced perturbations alongside live time-lapse imaging.
Now in the Trapnell Lab, I am interested in understanding the genetic requirements that drive cell differentiation with spatial and temporal resolution. I aim to tackle these questions with induced perturbations and a multiomic approach that combines single-cell sequencing technologies with high-resolution imaging.
Outside the lab, I am passionate about alternative modes of transportation and exploring the outdoors, especially cycling, motorcycling, and backpacking!
